Diesel Has A Knock Out Scent: Only The Brave!

Diesel has created their first ever men's fragrance, Only The Brave. The bottle design was inspired by Diesel founder Renzo Rosso's own hand. I'm not quite sure how it smells but I thought this was such a cool bottle! I have such a bottle fettish! The cost of Only The Brave ranges from $42.50 -86.50. So, if any one has smelled this fragrance, please feel free to let the rest of us know how it smells!

Sneaker Fetish: Kanye West and Marc Jacobs!

Kanye West has paired with Vuitton to launch a line of sneakers. Apparently, Kanye has a huge sneaker obsession which is evident by his 400 plus sneaker collection he hesitantly admitted having during his WWD interview. Kanye's new sneaker line was featured in Vuitton's men Fall 2009 runway show. I'm definitely looking forward to see more of the collection...So stay tuned!

Color Forecasting!

First I want to thank all of my fellow readers for sending me info on things that are happening in the fashion industry! Speaking of readers, one of my fellow blog readers and friend(shout out to Liana) from the Golden State (California) informed me of a company that strongly influences color trends for design professionals, artist and any other creative professional that has to deal with color! The name of the company is called Pantone. Pantone is the global authority on color and provider of professional color standards for the design industry. Just recently they released the Pantone color report for Spring 2009. I had no idea that this company existed! Who would of ever thought that there is a committe of folks dictating how you implement color in to your home, wardrobe or daily activities! When I first discovered this information I was excited and then after the excitement wore off, I began to think how much of our lives are sometimes dictated by others. So, than I began to ponder why it is extremely important to make a conscious effort to define who you are amidst all of our daily controlling factors that dictate what, when and how to wear something! All in all I think The Pantone color report is a good marker for those who rely on this system! Check out their top ten colors for Spring 2009...Pantone Color Report

Spring Neutral and Pastels by Jovon

New year...New beginnings...I wanted to set the tone by picking out some of the latest trends that inspired me after reading some of the latest fashion magazines and visiting some of my favorite boutiques. In my recent shopping trip, I noticed a lot of designers used soft pastels, neutrals and navy as the current color palette for their resort and early spring collections...I am soooooooo excited about spring so I just wanted to wet your palette as to what to expect in the upcoming months. I decided to highlight more practical and pocket friendly items! Enjoy!
